So I was trying to find the best way to clean silver coins......and I found this little screen shot. Whats your opinion on tap water where you are located?

Can your tap water damage a silver coin??

It damages my plumbing, my toilet bowls, my sinks and tubs. Yes, my tap water should probably come with a warning not to be used internally or externally.

Yeah externally...! Its crucial not to use on silver. But skin....not a problem
